Hopefully it helps more people like me getting so desperade as myself yesterday to have so much fun with this lovely game as I. Beware restoring savegame files to the new game ID folder for saves, as the savegames files contains another game id code, so you have to use an application called ACSaveTool, which converts/encrypts your saves from the original game ID 443 to a new game ID 273, which you can then copy from the old folder named 443 to the new destination folder named 273. TAC will switch you to AC4 Black Flag edition (game ID 273, so not the former Eastern Europe edition you tried to download), which has all the files on the source server in the place, so the download will be successfull.
The problem is the game itself, we are getting EASTERN EUROPE edition of AC4 Black Flag for download (game ID 443) and it fails at 99.99 percent, probably because on the source server some files are really missing. I would like to inform anyone reading this discussion to understand the issue and help fixing it once for all. Thanks for your yes, I have raised a ticket and actually it is solved.
